John Young, President/CEO

John Young has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer since October 2024. With more than 30 years of experience as an Indiana community banker, John previously served as the Chief Lending Officer and President/CEO of a community bank in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. He subscribes to a philosophy of servant leadership and enjoys challenging others to improve processes and achieve their professional goals. John holds a master’s degree in leadership and organizational management from Thomas More University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin. An Indiana native, John, was born in Anderson and later moved to the Brookville area where he and his wife, Rosanne, raised their four children. John and Rosanne reside in Greencastle where they enjoy hiking, boating, and fishing.
Kirt Ramsay, Chairman
Kirt Joined the board in February 2005, and has served as chairman since January 2024. He and his wife Carmen live and farm in the Russellville area, where they raised their daughter Grace who will begin Medical School at Marion University this August. Kirt graduated from Purdue in 1994 with a BS in Agricultural Economics. Aside from his family farming duties, he stays busy with his activities in The Russellville Community Church and his responsibilities as Chairman of Tri County Bank.
John Ditmars
John joined the TCB Board shortly after retirement in early 2023 after a distinguished 40+ year career in the banking industry. In that time, he held a variety of roles including executive leadership positions. Although a lifelong resident of Johnson County, he has strong ties to Putnam County through his wife of nearly 46 years, who is a Putnam County native, and through their extended family connections. Together, they have two grown children and five grandchildren. John currently serves on the Johnson County Council and has been involved in numerous civic and community organizations over time.
Nicole Allee
Nicole has served on TCB’s board since 2020. She owns & operates 5 small businesses which include a rental portfolio, community based electrical contracting business and tourism operation services. She possesses a PH. D in Educational Administration. She is a retired School Superintendent and serves as interim as needed.
Terry Stephens
A lifelong resident of Montgomery County, I am proud to call this community my home. At 64 years old, I have deep roots here and remain a very active resident of Montgomery County, always engaged in the life and growth of our community. I have been happily married for 41 years, and family has always been at the center of my life. Together, we have two stepchildren—a son and a daughter—who both work on our family farm. Farming is truly a family effort, as our six grandchildren are also actively involved in the daily operations of the farm, continuing the legacy and strong work ethic that have been passed down through generations. I have been farming since 1980, dedicating more than four decades to agriculture and the stewardship of our land. In addition to farming, I also own and operate my own insurance office, proudly serving members of our community with professionalism and care. Since 2020, I have also served on the Tri-County bank board. My life’s work reflects my deep commitment to family, hard work, community involvement, and the continued growth and success of Montgomery County
Matt Schmitt
Matt is a Regional Commercial Manager for Bunge covering Indiana and Michigan. He has served the ag community in the tri-county area for over 15 years with over 20 years experience in Ag business. He has been a board member since 2020. Matt and his wife of nearly 20 years are raising five children. He also stays heavily involved in the community through youth sports programs and has served on the Danville Junior Basketball League board for 5 years.
